This is a beautiful early specimen showing a stunning example of Breyer's earliest paint and shading techniques. She is the version with a light mane and tail but not white, they are shaded, finished a bit lighter than the coat color to the whole model an overall soft pastel color look. It is such a nice combination. She was made between 1961 and 1966. She is a creamy, soft butterscotch color and I've seen these range from Cheeto orange to almost brown. She is beautiful and in excellent condition. Gloss finish. NY Estate find. She has some small marks/rubs here and there and eartip/hoof rubs, but the gloss is in amazing condition, especially for the age of the model! See photos for details.
